Commercial Cleaning Software: Swept Plans and Prices vs Home-Cleaning Tools

How we put this together: We haven’t run a cleaning company on Swept. This guide covers what Swept publishes on its own site: plan prices, location limits and listed features. It then compares the shape of that with the home-cleaning tools we cover elsewhere. Book Swept’s demo or run your own sites through it before you decide.

Best for…

  • Janitorial and commercial cleaning with crews on shifts at fixed sites: Swept lists scheduling and shift management, mobile clock in and out, GPS site verification, and inspections with photo proof.
  • Cleaning homes with online booking and card payments: the home-cleaning tools in our house cleaning comparison are built around that. Swept’s plan page doesn’t list online booking or customer card payments.
  • Solo cleaners starting commercial work: Swept’s home page and Launch page still advertise a $30/month Launch plan, but its Compare Plans page doesn’t list it. Ask before you count on it.

The short answer

  • Two self-serve plans on the Compare Plans page: Optimize at $150/month and Scale at $225/month, each for up to 15 locations, billed monthly. Choosing annual billing saves 20%, per the page.
  • A third plan, Accelerate, is custom priced for larger operators (the page says 50+ locations) and adds rollout help.
  • Price grows with the number of locations, not users. Optimize and Scale list unlimited employees and subcontractors.
  • Launch ($30/month) appears on Swept’s home page and its Launch page (time tracking and scheduling, unlimited users, 15 locations). It isn’t on the Compare Plans page, so confirm it’s still offered.

1. What commercial cleaning needs that home cleaning doesn’t

Swept’s pages are built around crews working shifts at client buildings. Its features speak to checking that a crew was there and did the job: GPS site verification, clock in and out, inspections with photo proof, and per-location checklists and instructions. Home-cleaning tools are built around the customer: online booking forms, recurring visits per household, and card payments. Which one fits depends on whether your customers are buildings under contract or households you book one by one.

3. What more locations cost

The Compare Plans page has a “How many locations do you clean” selector (up to 15, 25, 30, 50, or more than 50). Per the prices in the page’s code, monthly billing:

Up to 50$350$500$3,360$4,800

Swept’s comparison table says locations are “priced in bands” and Accelerate has no cap. We read these band prices from the page’s code, so confirm them on the live page selector before you budget.

4. What Optimize and Scale list

  • Optimize: scheduling and shift management, mobile clock in and out, GPS site verification, inspections with photo proof, cleaning checklists per location, location messaging and announcements, works in 150+ languages, unlimited employees and subcontractors, payroll audit and approval, time entries export, missed-shift and late-arrival alerts.
  • Scale adds: a client portal, direct messages and group channels with teams and clients, profit and loss by location, time-off requests, supply requests from the field, work orders and one-time cleanings, QuickBooks Online payroll integration, and approved travel time for payroll.
  • Add-on: Swept Connect (API, webhooks and MCP) is an add-on on Scale and included on Accelerate.

The Compare Plans page lists QuickBooks Online payroll integration. It doesn’t list client invoicing, online booking or customer card payments, so ask Swept how you would bill your clients.

5. Swept or a home-cleaning tool?

6. Questions to ask Swept

  • Is Launch ($30/month) still sold? What does it include, and can I upgrade to Optimize later?
  • How do I invoice my clients? Is it in Swept, or do I use QuickBooks Online or another tool?
  • How are locations counted (each building, each floor, each contract)?
  • Is there a free trial, or only a demo and paid monthly plan? (The Compare Plans page shows “Get Demo” and a checkout button; we didn’t see a free trial listed there.)
  • If I start monthly, can I switch to annual later and still get the 20% saving?

Bottom line

If you manage cleaners at buildings and need to show clients that the work was done, Swept’s published features are aimed squarely at that, starting at $150/month for up to 15 locations on Optimize. If you clean homes, a booking-focused tool is a better fit. The big unknown on Swept’s own pages is the $30 Launch plan: it’s on the home page but not on the plan comparison, so ask before you plan around it.

Before you pay

  • Count locations, not people.
  • Ask how you bill clients and whether payments run through Swept.
  • Confirm the monthly versus annual price for your location band.

Swept’s page shows a demo button, not a free trial. Book the demo with your real site list.
