- Solo owner: Starter, $19/month, if you book 40 or fewer appointments a month.
- Owner + 2 cleaners: Pro, $67/month ($39 + 2 × $14).
- Each extra person: $4, $14 or $24 a month, depending on the plan. Only the owner is included.

How we put this together: We haven’t run a cleaning business on ZenMaid. This guide explains what ZenMaid publishes: plan prices, who it charges for, limits and add-ons. The team-size costs are our own math from those list prices.
1. ZenMaid plans and prices (as listed October 30, 2026)

- Who you pay for: only the owner is in the base price. Office managers, employee cleaners and contractor cleaners are each charged per month, and only active people count.
- Texting: plan prices don’t include SMS. Bundles start at $14 for 125 messages, and they can bill more or less often than your plan, depending on use.
- Billing: month to month in USD, no contract, cancel anytime. Annual plans are available on request; ZenMaid doesn’t publish an annual price.
- Starter’s cap: at 40 appointments in a month, you can’t add more until the next month unless you upgrade to Pro or Pro Max.

2. What you’ll pay at 1, 3, 6 and 10 people
Our math from the list prices above, per month, before texting and card fees. Team size includes the owner, so a team of 3 is the owner plus 2 paid people.

Over a year on Pro, that’s $804 for 3 people, $1,308 for 6 and $1,980 for 10. Starter is cheapest at every size, but 40 appointments a month is about 10 a week (our math), which a team of 3 or more can pass quickly.
Solo cleaner: Starter or Pro? Cleanings a week × 4.3 = appointments a month. Over 40 means Pro ($39); 40 or fewer, Starter ($19) fits.
2 a day, 5 days: ~43/mo → Pro
3 a day, 4 days: ~52/mo → Pro
8 a week: ~34/mo → Starter fits
True monthly cost (our estimate): Pro $39 + texts. A confirmation and a reminder for 43 cleanings is ~86 texts; at $14 per 125, that’s ~$10 (86 ÷ 125 × $14), so about $49/month.
3. ZenMaid vs BookingKoala and Jobber for a 3-person team

4. Which ZenMaid plan to pick
Pick Starter if…
- You clean alone or with one helper and book 40 or fewer jobs a month.
- You just need scheduling, reminders and online payments.
Look elsewhere if…
- You need checklists, payroll, reports or cleaner GPS tracking: those start on Pro.
- You want more than chat support: Starter is chat-only, and priority support is on Pro Max.
Pick Pro if…
- You book more than 40 appointments a month.
- You want payroll, checklists and GPS tracking for $14 per extra person.
Look elsewhere if…
- You need QuickBooks today: ZenMaid lists it as “coming soon.”
- Your team is growing fast: BookingKoala Growing stays $57 up to 15 providers.
Pick Pro Max if…
- You want booking forms with your own branding, Zapier or Mailchimp.
- You track cleaner availability and time off in the app.
Look elsewhere if…
- You have 6 or more people: at $24 each, 6 people is $169 a month.
- You don’t need those extras: Pro is $10 less, and $10 less per extra person.
5. Bottom line
ZenMaid is cheap for a solo owner and stays reasonable for small teams, but every extra person adds to the bill. Count everyone who needs a login, including office help, then multiply by $14 on Pro. If that number is climbing, compare BookingKoala’s flat provider tiers before you commit.
Before you pay
- Count active people, not just cleaners: office managers are charged too.
- Count last month’s appointments before choosing Starter.
- Ask about an annual plan if you’re sure you’ll stay a year.
Every plan has a 14-day free trial, and ZenMaid says it imports your client list for free.
Common questions
Is the owner charged as a user?
No. Only the owner profile is included in the base price. Everyone else with an active profile, including office managers and contractor cleaners, is charged $4, $14 or $24 a month.
Does ZenMaid work with QuickBooks?
Not yet, going by its pricing page: the QuickBooks integration is listed on Pro and marked “coming soon.”
Is there an annual plan?
Yes, on request. ZenMaid’s help article says annual plans are available, but it doesn’t publish an annual price.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Each plan has a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.
